At Zehr's Sales & Manufacturing, we strive to provide clear and honest descriptions of all our items. Because our inventory includes a unique mix of auction lots, unclaimed freight, and specialized machinery, our return policy varies by product category to ensure fairness and transparency.
General Return Period
For eligible retail products (such as new parts or specific non-auction inventory), we offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase or pickup. Items must be in their original condition and packaging to qualify for a return.
Auction Items and Unclaimed Freight
Please note that all items sold through online auctions (via Quick Bids) or designated as "Unclaimed Freight" are generally sold AS-IS.
Inspection: We strongly encourage winning bidders to inspect their items at our Millbank location during the scheduled pickup window.
Final Sale: Once an auction item has been inspected and removed from our premises, the sale is considered final. Returns or refunds are not accepted for auction items unless there was a significant error in the catalog description.
Snowdog Machinery and Small Engines
New equipment, such as Snowdog machinery, is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Returns: Returns on motorized equipment are subject to inspection and may incur a restocking fee if the unit has been fueled or operated.
Service & Repair: For small engine repair services, we stand behind our workmanship. If you experience issues with a repair, please contact us within 14 days of service for an evaluation.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return for an eligible retail item, please follow these steps:

Provide the reason for the return and any supporting photos if the item is defective.
Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method (Debit, Visa, or MasterCard). Please allow 5-10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Shipping and Pickup Costs
Customers are responsible for the costs of returning items to our Millbank location.
Original shipping or handling fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
